Terms of Service
Please read the following Terms of Service carefully before you agree to dog waste removal services from Scoop Savers.
TERMS OF SERVICE (revised 2/12/21)
Scoop Savers is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet-waste removal services to residences, businesses, and commercial properties. By accepting the Services you hire us for, you agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). You are bound to these Terms by accepting our Services.
The customer understands our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of grass height, access to your yard (which is the customer’s responsibility), and other unknown outside influences.
DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
Scoop Savers offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include One Time Clean, Weekly Cleaning, Every Other Week Cleaning, and Seasonal Cleaning. All pricing is based on an area size of 1/8th of an acre. Larger areas will have an additional charge.
ACCESSING YOUR YARD
The Customer understands that if Scoop Savers can’t access the area needing cleaning due to locked/blocked/frozen gates or dogs in the yard, the service will be skipped, and charges will still apply. Scoop Savers suggests adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid locked gates.
WEATHER
Scoop Savers will work through the rain and cold as long as we can safely do so. The customer understands we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding, or an accumulation of snow. Scoop Savers is a monthly subscription service. If a service is skipped due to severe weather, it will be performed the following week. Therefore refunds would not be applicable as waste for the prior week will still be picked up on the following week, with a longer service time. Additionally, if the weather has caused the yard to become very muddy, thereby introducing a risk of slipping or damage to the customer’s property, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when ground conditions have improved.
HOLIDAYS
Scoop Savers does not provide services on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. If your pick-up day falls on one of these days, we will skip service that week and pick up the following week. Therefore refunds would not be applicable as waste for the prior week will still be picked up on the following week, with a longer service time.
BILLING
Scoop Savers pre-bills monthly for our service. Your account will be charged on the 1st of the month for service. If your card is declined, the service will be paused until the issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean-up, a first-time clean-up fee will be applied. One-Time Cleanings will be billed after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. Accounts with payments greated than 30 days late may be turned over to collections.
LEAVES, DEBRIS, AND TALL GRASS
We will always do our best to clean your yard thoroughly. We understand that maintaining your yard can be challenging, and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be difficult to find dog waste in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, some waste may be missed. We will return on our next scheduled visit and collect anything missed if yard maintenance has been completed. If you find an excessive amount that we missed, please let us know as soon as possible at info@scoopsavers.com.
WAITING FEES
We value our customers greatly, however to ensure the feasibility and survival of our business, if the customer askes as to wait before we can begin service, or causes a delay in any other form, we would need to add a $5 waiting fee to that day’s service charges.
LATE PAYMENT FEES
A late payment fee of $10 will be added to each bill that is late. Payment is due the 1st of each month, and bills become late on the 3rd of each month.
PRIVACY POLICY
We may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include details such as your name, email address, phone number, and physical address. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting, such as the type of property and area needing service, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior.
We collect information about you to provide you with our services. We use personal information about our users for a variety of business purposes; your information is for Scoop Savers’ use only. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties.
We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes including, but not limited to, processing your payments, sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance, or development of our system. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests, or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law.
REVISIONS
Scoop Savers provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance of any changes to the Terms. Some provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
